Internet Protocol(IP)

The Internet Protocol (IP) is the method or protocol by which data is sent from one computer to another on the Internet.

IP Address

IP address is a number used to indicate the location of a computer or other device on a network using TCP/IP.

It allows data to reach the appropriate destination on a network and the Internet.

Internal IP Address

internal IP address is the address that is assigned by your local network router that often begins with 192.168.x.x.

External IP Address

An external IP address is the address assigned to you by your Internet Service Provider that is how the Internet and all other computers outside your local network see you.
